Give Tilly a Chance to Run and Play Again
Tilly is a sweet and hyper dog that has been diagnosed with bilateral grade 4 lateral patella luxation.
Earlier this month, Tilly started limping on one leg. The next day, her other hind legs began bleeding after a routine walk of hers. We rushed her to the hospital and we found out that her back legs just stopped working. According to the doctors, there could be several reasons for this. Maybe her kneecaps just popped out of place, maybe they’ve been out of place since birth, maybe she has arthritis, maybe she has hip dysplasia, and because of these uncertainties she had to get X-rays and a surgery consult and that alone was $1000+ let alone what the actual surgeries will be.
After the x-rays it was discovered that both of her legs will need to be operated on, on several separate occasions. She also may have an underlying hip issue that needs to be checked on as well. Surgery is the only chance that Tilly has to be able to walk and live a better life again. Please share this with anyone you know and remember that anything helps.
