Help me take care of this tortoise until i can find it a home or shelter

Recently found a tortoise outside on the highway, don't know where it came from and might look after it for a little bit until someone wants to adopt it or i get it to an animal shelter

This little guy was on the highway and i have no idea where he came from so i may take care of him for a bit just until someone adopts him, claims him or an animal shelter takes him in. He seems to be doing ok, but i need to take him to the vet just to make sure, and i need some money to help cover the costs. I'll need to put up posters that he's found, just in case he has owners who are looking for him.

Let's hope this little guy doesn't have any major injuries or illnesses.
