Many of you know Jelly, our sweet, silly boy with the big personality and a bigger heart. He’s survived so much already: being abandoned by a dumpster, battling cancer and a vicious dog attack.
Recently, Jelly developed pancreatitis and we rushed him to the vet. After a few days at home, he didn’t improve. Today, we took him to the emergency room. The doctors told us his kidneys are failing, the pancreatitis is worsening, and his heart is being affected. He is now hospitalized at a specialty care facility, fighting for his life.
Statistically, based on similar cases, his odds of recovery are about 60% but that’s more than enough for us to keep fighting for him.
